Our coaches are all enthusiastic, encouraging and supportive. They are qualified to a minimum of The F.A. Level 1 C oaching Certificate and also possess enhanced CRB Disclosure clearance to work with children.
Boys AND Girls from ALL school years are invited to the Football Course regardless of their ability. The sessions are planned so that where possible, players will be working with others of their own age and ability.
In inclement weather, we may occasionally do games inside the school or skills on the playground.
Course Content
Skills, Drills & Fun Football Games - including: passing, control, super skills, dribbling, running with the ball, turning, attacking and defending, heading, shooting & finishing, penalties, goalkeeping & of course match play!
Prizes & Certificates
EVERY PLAYER in attendance on EVERY COURSE may receive a certificate AND be given weekly chances to win Teamtheme prizes and gifts such as: boot bags, caps, frisbees, key rings, wallets, stationery sets, drink bottles, T-Shirts, sunglasses, sweatbands, lunch boxes & mini footballs will be awarded WEEKLY in each age group. The players will compete against the other players in their group to win the weekly prizes.
These gifts can be awarded each week as 'Spot Prizes' by each group's coach. Every single child has the opportunity to win a prize as they are awarded for many reasons, such as being attentive or helpful, demonstrating to the group, scoring the goal of the day, doing the best dribble or turn, having a good attitude or winning the penalty shoot out, to name just a few examples.
Trophies
Trophies will be presented on the final week of the course to selected players in each age group. The coaches will decide which trophies to award chosen from the following categories: Most Improved Player, Best Attitude, Hardest Working Player, Most Determined Player, Most Helpful Player, Most Enthusiastic Player, Best Goalkeeper, Best Defender, Best Midfielder, Top Striker, 5 Second Shoot Out Winner, Penalty Shoot Out Champion, Most Valuable Player or Most Promising Player.
Medals
Awarded to the winning teams in each age group on 'Tournament Match Week' which is usually the final week of the course.
Medals are often awarded to EVERYONE of the players on the course - Bronze for 4th place and 3rd place, Silver for the runners up and Gold medals for each member of the winning teams . You're ALL winners with Teamtheme!
PLEASE NOTE: Teamtheme advise parents to send the players with appropriate kit for the day's weather. Warm clothing and waterproofs may be necessary.
Each player is advised to bring a still drink and wear shin pads & football boots; however trainers should be sufficient for the younger players.
Parents are welcome to help their own child get changed.
The sessions may run over the stated finish time due to players taking a while getting ready.
Photographs / videos may be taken of the children's football for publicity, training, progression & advertisement purposes. Please be assured that your child & school will NOT be named & your details are protected securely under the 1998 Data Protection Act.
