Disclosure is the service provided by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) to help Teamtheme make safer, more informed recruitment decisions. By improving access to government and police records, Disclosure is a valuable additional recruitment tool.

The Criminal Records Bureau is an executive agency of the Home Office and is responsible for providing access to government and police records across England and Wales primarily for recruitment purposes through its one-stop shop service called Disclosure

Teamtheme are a Registered Body.

Teamtheme's role as a Registered Body
to identify the appropriate level of Disclosure required for the position.
to confirm the details of the documentary evidence provided by the Disclosure applicant to help establish their identity.
to countersign applications for Standard and Enhanced Disclosures.
to receive Standard and Enhanced Disclosures.
to be responsible for controlling access to the information on the Disclosure.
to ensure the security of that information, storing and destroying the information and ensuring that the necessary identification checks of the applicant have been made.
to ensure that Disclosures are received, handled and interpreted in compliance with the Code of Practice and follow any guidance issued by the CRB.

Umbrella Bodies
Teamtheme can act on behalf of other organisations or individuals in securing Disclosure. As a Registered Body and Umbrella Body, Teamtheme are able to:
provide a service to members of an association or industry sector.
provide a service for smaller organisations.
offer the Disclosure service to our clients.

Teamtheme have to desigante a Lead Countersignatory to be responsible for all applications.

Why are Teamtheme a Registered Body?
We have a duty of care to children under our charge.
Our staff have to undergo the necessary recruitment checks to work with children.
The vast majority of our coaches are found from within the company, or are recommended to us by colleagues and business associates.
All staff are trained by AFC Teamtheme, whilst also holding, or studying for FA Qualifications in Children's Football Coaching, Emergency Aid and Child Protection.
By registering, we can provide an extra level of service to our customers, whilst also demonstrating our commitment and responsibility to child protection throughout the business.
