Whilst promoting fun
in football and nutrition, Teamtheme also believe
in helping children to develop their personal skills,
including teamwork, confidence building, making
friends, good communication and motivation. We
do this through fun games and activities, such
as the skills coaching which is often completed
in teams, making good communication essential to
successfully complete the activity.
Close interaction between children of all ages encourages
them to make new friends, thus improving ‘playground
relationships’ during school time.
The after
dinner activities on the holiday courses we also
run, involve the children making short presentations
to the group, which can consist of over 100 children.
This helps build their confidence for assembly
speaking, or class presentations in school.
We also ask children to encourage others by cheering
them on during games, penalty shoot-outs and matches.
This motivates the children to achieve, as does being
rewarded by praise from the coaches, clapping from
other children and prizes or ‘goals’ awarded
as points for performance.
